At Nordhydraulic AB, we design and manufacture hydraulic valves for mobile systems. From our facility in Kramfors, in the heart of the High Coast, we deliver high‑performance solutions to world‑leading customers primarily in the automotive industry and mobile applications.

Purchasing Manager

We are looking for a driven Purchasing Manager for a key role at Nordhydraulic!

As Purchasing Manager, you will have a central and leading role where you are responsible for driving and developing our purchasing and warehousing processes. You will act as a strategic and operational link within the business, actively contributing to securing deliveries, optimizing material flows, and building strong, quality-assured relationships with our suppliers. The role also includes exciting personnel responsibilities where you will lead the purchasing department forward.

Responsibilities

As Purchasing Manager, you will work closely with both the local management team (reporting to the CEO) and external partners to ensure an efficient material supply. Your role is both strategic and operational, continuously seeking improvements in our flows.

You will, among other things:

  • Leading the purchasing department and actively working with employee development.
  • Managing purchasing activities and optimizing inventory levels for work-in-progress materials, purchased parts, and finished goods.
  • Driving supplier development to continuously improve quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Ensuring we find the right suppliers during product development and taking responsibility for quality documentation (PPAP) towards them.
  • Initiating and implementing cost-saving projects and investments within your area of responsibility.
  • Participating in order planning, being responsible for KPI reporting, and ensuring we have the correct data in our ERP system.

Who we are looking for

  • Has an engineering degree or several years of solid work experience in purchasing.
  • Has a broad understanding of information and material flows in a manufacturing environment.
  • Has knowledge and experience of Six Sigma and Lean tools.
  • Has good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Has strong skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, as we operate in an international environment.

Furthermore, it is a merit if you have experience working with the Monitor ERP System.

Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for a key role at Nordhydraulic!

As a Quality Engineer, you will be a key player within the quality organization, working closely with production teams to create robust processes and ensure product quality throughout the entire flow. You are responsible for preventing quality deviations, managing internal and external communication regarding quality issues, and contributing to a culture where continuous improvements are in focus.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you work to ensure and develop quality throughout the entire production process. Your role is to proactively implement quality tools, drive improvement initiatives, and act as an important link between production, customers, and suppliers in quality matters.

You will, among other things:

  • Be responsible for quality tools such as FMEA, control plans, MSA, SPC, 8D, and PPAP/APQP
  • Have customer contact in quality matters, including deviation reporting and follow-up for key customers
  • Conduct internal and supplier-related audits according to relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
  • Drive continuous improvements by identifying opportunities and implementing solutions for increased efficiency and quality

Who we are looking for

  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering within a relevant field
  • Have at least a few years of experience in quality, production technology, or design
  • Have good experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, and PPAP
  • Have experience with Lean work and continuous improvement processes
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in the daily work

Furthermore, it is a merit if you have experience working with the Monitor ERP System.
